Engaged initially to reverse-engineer CCS (Contract Control System) and Hummingbird (Project Control System), involved in developments of the replacements for both, and then tasked with setting up an in-house Business Analysis function.
Engaged to reverse engineer CCS (Contract Control System) and Hummingbird (Project Control System) and then to project manage both developments. Included system to manage site plans/drawings and save £1,000,000+ on medium-sized projects following the re-engineering of processes and set up of a “collaboration website” to post all drawings.
Recruited additional heads (14) in short timeframe to set up a Business Analysis team, working with key business stakeholders in UK, Europe, Australia and the USA, whom I trained in PRINCE2/DSDM.
Performed development, evaluated and investigated project life cycles, including initiation, change control, implementation, deployment, testing, QA and post-implementation review and rolled out an agile project methodology merging PRINCE2 and DSDM.
Acted as conduit for all work into IT Department from Bovis Lend Lease EMEA, Lend Lease Europe and Lend Lease REI, from alliances with BP and CISCO and from PFI Partnership with Halifax and Royal Bank of Scotland using new processes and systems to halve the cost of development while ensuring that objectives were met and requirements fulfilled.
