1. The Law Society of England and Wales. I started his career in IT here, working with consultants from EDS.
2. RHM Computing. Much of my work has involved developing and implementing new systems to automate the operations of flour mills like this one in Hull.
3. Fraser Williams, Hertfordshire. I began my career in business systems analysis working for a client in London's Artillery Row.
4. P&O Containers. I worked on automating dockside operations at, among other ports, Tilbury, seen here by night.
5. P&O Containers. I also worked on container tracking and management. This container is in Port Darwin, South Australia.

10. P&O Containers. The Jervis Bay was one of the ships on which I installed a local area network, the first on a civilian vessel.
11. De La Rue Card Technology. As Business Systems Manager I was responsible for developing new products as well as for introducing ERP and automated manufacturing systems.
12. Evesham Micros. As interim IT Manager I introduced a new ERP system and set up the company's first etrading website.
13. Total Control Systems & Fyffes. Here again I introduced automated logistics, for handling and storing fragile cargoes, at Tilbury Cold Stores, photographed here from a light aircraft.
14. Bovis Europe. I created a reporting system to control contractors on major projects such as Bankside.
15. Adare Printing Group. I worked with all 17 companies in the group carrying out programmes of business change including web-enabling manufacturing companies such as Kalamazoo.
16. Adare Printing Group. Extranet, etrading and ecollaboration websites generated new business and encouraged cross-selling with high street businesses like KallKwik.
17. Bovis Lend Lease EMEA. Part of my role was to provide Business Systems Analysis support on projects such as Bluewater Park.
18. Bovis Lend Lease EMEA. I worked on PFI projects such as Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
19. Bovis Lend Lease EMEA. I set up the company's first business analysis team from scratch.
20. The NEC Group, Birmingham. My Intranet solutions linked the five elements of the NEC including the Symphony Hall and International Conference Centre.
21. The NEC Group, Birmingham. Part of the role involved provision of IT and communications facilities to exhibitors.
22. The NEC Group, Birmingham. The NEC Arena was the site for a test of mTicketting, txt'ing ticket details to the purchaser's mobile.
23. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. I worked with the Commissioners for Irish Lights on asset management. This is their buoy tender, Granuaile, loading at Dun Laoghaire.
24. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. I also worked on the provision of Computerised Maintenance Management systems, shipboard systems, communications for two new builds including THV Galatea seen here on her sea trials.
25. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. My main project, changing the basis of THLS's maintenance operations, fundamentally reduced the cost of operations by vessels such the THLS flagship, THV Patrica.
26. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. Another sideline was developing equipment to survey sites for potential offshore wind farms.
27. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. I also worked with the Northern Lighthouse Board on their system requirements. This is their new build, Pharos, alongside at Greenock.
28. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. The Computerised Maintenance Management System that I installed allows one operator to monitor and manage 1800 navigation buoys like these.
29. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. This system included the assembly and servicing of buoys like this type 2 being brought back to Harwich aboard THV Patricia.
30. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. The Northern Lighthouse Board's 'Polestar' was another candidate for automated maintenance.
31. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. Twelve of these unmanned light vessels are also controlled from Harwich.
32. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. While working on the maintenance, ship husbandry and communication requirements for two new ships (Galatea and Alert) I also worked with Remontowa at the Gdansk shipyard.
33. Trinity House Lighthouse Service. THV 'Alert' is a Rapid Response Vessel.
34. National Express. Shortly before I was engaged NX had merged five operating companies into one company of five divisions and I used a single corporate CR/Complaints Management System to bring about a cultural change and reduce costs of customer service. One of those divisions was East Coast Trains.
35. National Express. Another was East Anglia Trains.
36. National Express. Trams (here Midland Metro) operated as bus services.
37. National Express. The bus division operated in several liveries.
38. National Express. Everybody knows National Express coaches.
39. National Express. Another project involved moving the headquarters of East Anglia Trains from their old heaquarters to new premises here in Norwich Railway station.
40. National Express. Another project involved installing PCs and communication solutions onto new low-emission buses at Heathrow Airport with the supporting processes and depot systems.
41. Wiltshire Council. My project involved finding ways for the authority to cut their core budget of £172m by 19% with minimal impact on their core functions. This is County Hall.
42. needatestrange. I recently became a director of a company that manages an Internet portal to unite anyone requiring testing facilities with the owners and operators of those facilities. Here an Exocet missile is launched on the NAMFI range.
