Developed new systems and enhanced and maintained existing systems for flour-milling division.
 
Developed an order processing and load planning system in COBOL, SyBOL and FILETAB on SyFA minicomputers and IBM s/370-158 mainframe for Mills part of group.

Enhanced and maintained existing systems in COBOL, SyBOL, RPGII and FILETAB with ADABAS and NATURAL.

Worked during this period on all Mill data processing functions including communications (SNA, JES2), printer package for spooled, direct and remote printing, payroll, invoicing, stock control and warehousing, management information reports, modelling, order processing, load planning and reconciliation and Millwrights (special payroll).

Undertook one-off applications for Bakeries Division in RPGII.

Operated Help Desk and on-line support for remote systems.

Developed installation standards for minicomputer programming and operations.

Developed educational programs on TRS-80 and RM 380Z micros using BASIC with TRS-DOS and CP/M.
